The Department of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bristol is looking to recruit Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Aeroacoustics. The Department is a part of the School of Civil, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, renowned for delivering both high quality teaching and world-class research; attracting the highest calibre of students and providing an intellectually stimulating environment for academic staff.
You will be responsible for devising and delivering undergraduate teaching on aerodynamics and turbulence – which may encompass both the theoretical and experimental aerodynamics, turbulence, and experimental methods, and you will develop and conduct research in an associated area. We are especially keen to recruit candidates who can complement our existing research initiates in areas associated with Experimental Aerodynamics and Aeroacoustics, for example, high-fidelity measurement techniques, UAV technologies, jet aerodynamics and noise, future flight, etc.
For informal discussion about the post, you are welcome to contact:
- Dr Steve Burrow (steve.burrow@bristol.ac.uk), (Head of Department)
- Professor Mahdi Azarpeyvand (mahdi.azarpeyvand)
