Personality Psychology and Educational Psychology
(Chair)

commencing as soon as possible.

The candidate is expected to have a profile of pertinent, internationally visible and preferably experimental research in personality and differential psychology and/or educational psychology. The candidate has a record of success in obtaining research funding in competitive programs, as well as high-ranking, influential publications in international journals, providing a very good fit to scientific research foci of the Department of Psychology, and a special commitment to teaching.

The chair is responsible for teaching and examinations in educational psychology, personality psychology as well as psychological assessment in educational contexts in school psychology and other teacher education programs as well as in the Bachelor's and Master's programs in Psychology.

Participation in the core research areas of the Munich Center of the Learning Sciences (MCLS, www.mcls.lmu.de) or of the „Munich Center for Neurosciences – Brain & Mind“ (MCN; www.mcn.lmu.de) is desired.

Prerequisites for this position are a university degree, a doctoral degree or a comparable specific qualification, teaching skills at university level, excellent academic achievements and a productive and promising research program.
