Job Summary

This position will support research being carried out in the Cai Research group in the Division of Biology and Biological Engineering. Specifically, the main goal of the job is to design electronics to integrate fluidics and automated microscopy and safety interlocks.

Job Duties

• Design and construct electronic circuits to integrate fluidics with fluorescence microscopy
• Work with other engineers in the lab on various projects
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in circuit board design
• Experience with electrical circuits
• Prototyping
• Excellent attention to details and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with software (Java/python)
• Experience with optical systems
• Mechanic engineering
