Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you have a background in distributed systems and optimisation algorithms? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?

You will join our EPSRC-funded project “Algorithmic Support for Massive Scale Distributed Systems”. Your role will be interdisciplinary, linking theoretical and applied research of two project teams and collaborating with our industrial partners.

Holding a PhD in Computer Science, you will have a combination of applied and theoretical skills. The required areas of expertise are resource management for large-scale distributed systems, optimisation algorithms and machine learning.
