Job Details
School of Computer Science and Engineering is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Assistant.
We need a research assistant to help us do some researches on fuzzing, a random testing tool. This is beneficial for computer security as fuzzing is a very new area and highly related to AI applications. This field has a significant research and industrial value. Therefore, a research associate related to fuzzing is highly needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on security of software and mobile applications
- Conducting research on testing vulnerabilities in well-known open source projects
- Developing fuzzing tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering, engineering, mathematics, or related discipline
- Expertise in software programming, software testing, computer security, mobile application and testing
- Research experience in software testing, mobile testing, and related areas
- Excellent communication and writing skills, Hard-working
- Able to conduct research and write report independently and within teams

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
