Applications are invited for appointment as Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 500272), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, and a strong background and experience in photochemistry and studying reactive intermediates.  Proficiency in written and spoken English, good organizational skills, a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently are essential.  The appointee will perform time-resolved spectroscopy experiments and data analysis of the results.  Enquiries about the post should be sent to Professor D.L. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
