General information about Palacký University Olomouc
Palacký University Olomouc is the second-oldest university in the Czech Republic, educating scholars since the 16th century. Olomouc is also the site of the second-largest historical monuments preserve in the country (after Prague). The conservation part of the city is home to over 23,000 students from all over the world. Faculty of Arts 
The Faculty of Arts is the largest UP faculty and offers more than 600 combinations of humanities, social, linguistic, and arts studies programmes. The Faculty of Arts offers a liberal approach in arranging one’s own curriculum, a personal approach to students, and development of individual skills. An open space for discussion is promoted and creative thinking is welcome.

Entrance Requirements
Appointment as a Professor in the field of Musicology; experience with teaching; active research and publication profile (including conferences); command of English and German.
