POSTDOC: Molecular Modeling and Novel Strategies for Computational Protein Design

We are seeking a highly motivated scientist for postdoctoral position in protein engineering for bioinformatics team at Loschmidt Laboratories, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic: https://loschmidt.chemi.muni.cz/peg/.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Computer modelling of biomolecules and their interactions with small ligands
  • Development of computational workflows for protein design
  • Interactions with team members at the interface of theory and experiment

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Ph.D. or equivalent in received no longer then 7 years ago
  • At least 2 years (of the last 3) outside of CR at researcher or PhD candidate position
  • Strong publishing record
  • Scripting or programming skills advantage
  • Experience in the of field of protein engineering advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in teams
  • Proficiency in English
  • Have a publishing record – in the last three years at least two publication outputs registered in the Thomson Reuters Web of Science, Scopus or ERIH PLUS databases and at the same time publications such as “articles”, “books”, “book chapters”, “letters” and “reviews”.
