We are in the top five in the UK for the quality of our research, and in teaching, we are ranked 4th in the UK in the three major university league tables for 2020. We currently have around 700 students from 60 countries studying with us and we also have around 45 academic staff engaged in teaching and research. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our teaching staff to help develop our undergraduate and postgraduate taught modules in analogue and digital electronics, electronic circuit design and embedded systems.

Your role will involve teaching through lectures, tutorials and laboratories, setting coursework and examination assessments, and supervising student projects. You will update the learning resources as appropriate and will contribute to ensuring students receive an outstanding educational experience.

You will have technical experience in a range of topics related to electronic and electrical engineering, gained either in industry and/or within higher education. In addition to demonstrating enthusiastic and effective teaching skills, you will demonstrate excellent team working skills with an ability to work in a cross-cultural team, and possess excellent communication skills.
