Job Description
Responsible for the business administrator functions, including but not limited to, budget and finance, grants management, payroll and general office administration. Provides budget management for a Department which includes budget oversight, from assistance with getting proposals submitted, account budgeting, forecasting, monitoring of activity, to account close outs. Responsible for purchasing and reimbursement functions, General Ledger activity including internal billing and corrections, deposits, Procard and merchant account administration. May also do personnel management which includes all activity related to faculty and staff matters, including visa applications, processing of employment paperwork and input into PennWorks, as well as oversight for personnel matters for employees in the department, including approvals for new hires, distribution monitoring and updates, payroll reallocations as required and yearly increase program. Will have people management responsibilities. This position requires frequent and professional communication with multiple business offices.
Responsible for the daily billing of all CHPS visits , deposit checks, reconcile ProCard transactions, Tag all equipment as needed, Manage accounts receivable, manage and document shipping charges, maintain strong communication with all colleagues, manage CHPS approval letters and documentation, Maintain and update Prospective Reimbursement Analysis for CHPS protocols, use all admin systems applications necessary for operations: BEN Financials, PennChart, WebCAMP, etc.; assist the ITMAT director of Finance and Operations and the CHPS Admin and Financial Officer when needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree; accounting or finance preferred, with 2-3 years of experience in an academic setting. Strong organizational and problem solving skills,
