Job Purpose

You will develop relationships with employers able to offer 6-month work placements to international students studying on MSc Management programmes with PDP.

You will maximize the numbers of students securing meaningful placements through preparation of students with the skills, knowledge and professional & personal attributes needed to submit a professional CV, be interviewed and subsequently placed successfully.

You will deliver curriculum sessions to MSc and iMBA students on preparation for work as part of PDP/ESAP modules.

You will support the employability Team contribution to cross-University employability projects and service improvement initiatives.

Candidate Criteria

With previous work experience in a relevant professional field (careers, work placement services, apprenticeships, graduate recruitment, HR), you will have a strong understanding of the graduate recruitment market and assessment/selection recruitment practices of employers.

You will have strong experience of building and developing excellent relationships with clients and you can easily build rapport, trust and confidence.

You will have significant experience of teaching in large and small groups and be able to work collaboratively across multiple teams.

Your excellent planning and time management skills will enable you to thrive whilst working under competing pressures and meeting deadlines.

Your initiative and strong problem-solving skills will allow you to identify issues and provide workable solutions.

Please note that occasional business travel to other London centres, Birmingham and Manchester may be required.
