Executive Director, Stanford Distinguished Careers Institute

Employer
STANFORD UNIVERSITY

California, United States

The Stanford Distinguished Careers Institute (DCI) brings 25-30 established leaders from around the world to Stanford for a yearlong program based on four core elements: finding purpose in the second half of life, building new communities and networks, focusing on health and wellness, and engaging in meaningful intergenerational educational experiences. Established in 2013 and admitting its first class in January 2015, the program has evolved rapidly. It now offers a robust program of seminars, colloquia, health and wellness activities and community events as well as access to hundreds of courses each quarter in the regular Stanford curriculum. In addition, from the outset the DCI has been committed to developing a global “collaborative” with other colleges and universities that share our commitment to learning across the lifespan and intergenerational education.
