The School of Health and Life Sciences is a multidisciplinary School, with a diverse range of programmes delivered at our Ayr, Dumfries, Lanarkshire, London and Paisley campuses to a combined total of around 6000 students.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Health Studies / Adult Health to join the School, where teaching and research are at the heart of all of the School’s activities. The ability to contribute to module and programme development will be integral to this post, along with engagement in wider academic activities such as research, consultancy and CPD. Undertaking research, development and/ or scholarship to enhance teaching will be encouraged.
As the successful candidate, you will join a progressive team of individuals currently supporting delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate health provision across the Division of Midwifery & Specialist Nursing, and, the Division of Adult Nursing & Health Care. You will have previous experience of delivering modules/programmes within the field of health studies and adult health, and be practised in contemporary teaching, learning and assessment methods. NMC professional registration is required.
The post will be based at Paisley Campus, and report into the Midwifery and Specialist Nursing Division.
