The Senior Business Partner (Business Insight) will hold a key leadership position within the Strategy, Planning and Finance team of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music, partnering with designated academic and business units to support strategic objectives and performance.

About the role

You will develop a deep knowledge of and strong connection with your business partners, supporting their planning and decision making through provision of holistic analytics and insight, and the development of action plans with relevant targets and performance measures. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, you will also provide consultancy and project services to support implementation of initiatives.

About you

You will bring to the role a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant work experience, demonstrated business partnering skills, project management and planning experience and the ability to provide high quality client services. Your leadership, communication and interpersonal skills will be highly developed, balanced with similarly well-developed analytical and investigative skills. Your technical skills will include strengths in gathering, managing, manipulating and visualizing data from which business insight can be drawn.

Based in the beautiful Southbank Campus of The University of Melbourne, you will work nestled amongst Melbourne’s major arts and cultural organisations and venues. You will have the convenience of great transport links to the rest of the city with the serenity of the Botanical Gardens close by.
