Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Surgery (Ref.: 499603), to commence as soon as possible for two years.

Applicants should be outstanding and self-motivated researchers with a proven research track record in the area of molecular and cancer biology.  They should possess a Ph.D. degree and proven experience in molecular genetics, next generation sequencing and animal model.  Good experience in clinical studies and background would have an advantage.  The appointee is expected to work independently and be involved in various projects related to breast cancer biology.  The appointee will be required to assist in laboratory research activities and will have the opportunity to work with collaborating divisions/centers in HKU, as well as in HKU-SZH.  Enquiries regarding the position should be directed to Professor Ava Kwong at avakwong@hku.hk.  Experience in grant applications in mainland china and/or collaborative grants and international grants is an advantage.  Fluency of English, Cantonese and Putonghua is preferred.
