The main focus of the role of Student Engagement Coordinator will be to support the coordination and implementation of the library’s student engagement activities round the student life-cycle, from university open days and post-offer visit days to Welcome Week and at the frequent and regular points of engagement required to promote the library’s key messages. The role will also encompass some responsibilities in support of visitor access procedures. The role will require good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. 

We are looking for a proactive and creative individual to join our team. You will be passionate about contributing to and enhancing the overall student experience and will need to demonstrate flexibility, responsiveness and the ability to enable students. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to employ tact and sensitivity when required to do so. Your ability to work to tight and frequently concurrent deadlines will be an important requirement. You will also possess an informed understanding and practical experience of web and social media issues relating to student engagement. Your ability to liaise with relevant colleagues, within the library but also across the institution, for example Bristol SU, Widening Participation, and your readiness to provide a dynamic and mobile presence in pursuit of the Student Engagement team's aims and outcomes will be invaluable.
