Applications are invited for qualified and experienced EAP tutors to teach on the following Pre-Sessional courses:
The dates of this year’s programme are below:
- PELP Part 1: Tuesday 16 June – Wednesday 15 July 2020
- PELP Part 2: Tuesday 14 July – Wednesday 12 August 2020
- PELP Part 3: Tuesday 11 August – Thursday 10 September 2020
Posts are available for one or more blocks and applicants must be available for the duration of each chosen block. The above dates include staff induction days which precede the start of each part.
CeDAS is seeking full-time tutors. The successful candidates will teach up to 20 hours per week of academic English language, literacy, and study skills to postgraduate and/or undergraduate students who have been conditionally accepted onto degree programmes at Royal Holloway. In addition, tutors will be expected to participate in weekly staff meetings, undertake associated marking, participate in the standardisation of assessments. In addition, tutors have the opportunity to take part in some student social events.
Applicants should have native or near-native command of spoken and written English and hold a recognized teaching qualification at CELTA level or above.

- Successful applicants will need to undertake a right to work check with HR at least 24 hours prior to your start date. Any delay in doing this will mean that your access to essential College systems, including e-mail, will not be finalised until after the start of your contract.
