The Role

  • Fixed Term (until December 2020), Full Time
  • $77,653 to $93,613 pa (plus 9.5% superannuation)
  • Bathurst

Assist in implementing and maintaining the integration of library systems, provide quality assurance and continuous process improvement advice and work to resolve problems arising from the use of library applications.

This position will ideally suit an individual with an academic library, special library or information technology background to investigate, troubleshoot and monitor issues related to the administration and support of the library systems.

Experience in using Ex-Libris products including Alma, Primo and Leganto will be highly regarded. An opportunity may also exist for the right candidate to be provided with training opportunities to upskill in the use of specific library systems and computer applications.

To be successful you will have:

  • A degree in librarianship or information management with relevant experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience
  • Experience in the use and application of library systems and computer applications
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to diagnose problems, troubleshoot and apply analytical thinking
