About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer: in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) to join our School of Education at our Magill campus.

The School of Education offers the largest range of teacher education programs in South Australia and one of the largest in the country with nearly 3,400 students. It currently operates from the Magill, Mawson Lakes, Whyalla and Mt Gambier campuses and provides programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary education.

This position is responsible for the development, delivery and coordination of courses within the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs and will contribute to the School’s research agenda.

Skills and Experience

Do you hold a PhD qualification with associated experience in research and teaching in Education and TESOL, along with expertise, knowledge and a commitment to the contemporary practice of Education – with an emphasis on TESOL? If so, this would be a great opportunity for you.

We are seeking an individual with high level verbal and written communication skills, who has experience in using information systems that support online learning and course administration.

If you can demonstrate high quality teaching outcomes with evidence of a strong commitment to continuous improvement of teaching practice and learning outcomes, along with a commitment to research that demonstrates a growing publication record, and experience in the preparation of research grant applications and success in attracting research income commensurate with opportunity, then apply now!
