Job description

The School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work (SSESW) is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Education) who will contribute to the delivery of a high quality postgraduate programme in Applied Behaviour Analysis and contribute to the School's outreach activity and teaching-related administration. This position is available immediately until 31 December 2020.

The successful candidate:

  • Will have or be about to obtain a PhD in a relevant area of social science.
  • Be a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) or expect to sit and pass the BCBA exam within 3 months of appointment.
  • Have teaching experience using a range of teaching methods. 
  • Have experience of marking written assignments.
  • Have demonstrable ability to design course materials and to plan and organise the delivery and assessment of taught courses in own specialism.
  • Will demonstrate ability to contribute to scholarly activity in a relevant area of social science.
  • Have ability to contribute to broader management and administrative processes.
