Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Oncology (Ref.: 499541), to commence as soon as possible on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. 

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in disciplines related to Science, Biology or Chemistry with a proven publication record, and demonstrate strong research interest in virus-associated oncology.  They should demonstrate a strong commitment to research;   have excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills; and be able to work independently.  Since research will be the major focus, the appointee must be active in research innovations.  He/She is expected to perform laboratory and translational research on virus-associated oncology.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
