Job Description Summary

The Instructional Content Manager will develop instructional materials to assist in the technology-based redesign of courses/academic programs utilizing Online Trading and Investment Simulator (OTIS) and other digital assets of Knowledge@Wharton High School with a focus on financial literacy and topics connected to the faculty and research of the Wharton School. The position will lead the development of online courses and other educational materials and programming for a global secondary school audience.

Job Description

The Instructional Content Manager for the Wharton High School and Summer Programs works directly on developing instructional materials to assist in the technology-based redesign of courses/academic programs utilizing Wharton’s Online Trading and Investment Simulator (OTIS) and other digital assets of Knowledge@Wharton High School. Curricular and program development focus is on financial literacy and topics connected to the faculty and research of the Wharton School. The position will lead the development of online courses and other educational materials and programming for a global secondary school audience. This position will  identify and recruit instructional staff for the development of new programming and also lead these instructors through the process of curricular development which is pedagogically appropriate for the secondary school audience.

Required: Master’s degree in education; one to two years of curriculum and educational business development experience; hands-on experience in using OTIS to design and development of courses for high school students;  working with University faculty and instructional staff on collaboration for program development; curriculum design principals with a focus on financial literacy, analytics, corporate finance, and entrepreneurship;  working directly with both high school level students and teachers; developing courses on the Canvas Platform; and working with international education organizations, corporate entities and other institutions on business development and contacting.
