The role and responsibilities
The Associate Lecturer will be required to teach (face-to-face or online) and/or mark online work and conduct classes in disciplines relevant to their field of expertise and assist in the academic and administrative, consultative and coordination tasks involved with these courses. Functions associated with the position include presentation of lectures (face-to-face or online) and/or tutorials and/or assessment of students and course administration in line with the University’s quality assurance requirements. You will also be required to undertake research activities in line with the University’s research strategy. The Associate Lecturer will work under support and guidance to develop expertise in teaching and research with an increasing degree of autonomy.

Key selection criteria
- Masters degree in Digital Marketing or related discipline.
- Broad and in-depth knowledge of the disciplines mentioned above, specifically in the understanding of the discipline of Digital Marketing and Analytics through academic teaching/research and practice-based experience.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and teach programs at undergraduate levels and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials.
- Demonstrated experience or ability to undertake course coordination role.
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and to negotiate sensitively with students especially on issues related to effective learning.
- Demonstrate ability to publish research outputs which will contribute to existing Discipline and School research areas and industry links.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration within and across campuses.
- Ability to build or demonstrate ability to build, successful networks with colleagues through effective liaison with industry and government.

Further information
- English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS 7.0, or BULATS Advanced level (BULATS score 75) or equivalent.
- As an expatriate candidate you will require a work permit to be employed in Vietnam. To qualify for a work permit you will need a Masters qualification and you will need to be able to demonstrate at least 5 years of teaching digital marketing related subjects in a tertiary education environment.
