Job Description

Physics Department is looking for research associate in astrophysics group. This is a fixed term position for 5 months and later the candidate will be hired under PhD program via college of graduate studies if he/she is able to secure admission through proper channel. Candidate should meet the minimum requirements to secure admission in PhD program. Preference will be given to the candidates who have already submitted application for PhD admission at UAEU and his/her research interests are in theoretical astrophysics.

Minimum Qualification

MS in Physics/related discipline and minimum GPA of 3.0 out 4.0. Research experience in theoretical/computational physics/astrophysics.

Preferred Qualification

Proof of research in the field such as published work in top journals of physics

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience

Solid background in theoretical physics and prior experience in computational physics
