Overview

The Human Resources Services Centre (HRSC) encompasses a range of functions to enable the University to effectively achieve its strategic priorities, manage and develop its workforce and minimise risk to its operations and organisational sustainability.

The Senior Centre Officer contributes to the day-to-day running of the HRSC through the timely and effective delivery of high-level, confidential administrative and financial management support and information co-ordination to the Director and other Centre staff.

As the first point of contact for the HRSC, the Senior Centre Officer builds and maintains relationships across the University, naturally adapts to the styles of others and demonstrates a high level of confidentiality. Directly supporting the Director, HR Services Centre, the Senior Centre Officer is an administrative expert, is financially literate and takes the lead in co-ordinating and developing internal communications for the HRSC.

This role is also responsible for assisting in backfilling HR Adviser duties. Previous experience in a HR Administrative role will be highly regarded.

This full time, fixed term (until January 2021) contract position attracts remuneration of $72,103 to $80,122 plus university superannuation contribution.
