Applications are invited for appointment as Research Officer (holding the title of Training Consultant) in The Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention (Ref.: 499506), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling with at least five years’ postgraduate relevant work experience, and an excellent command of written and spoken Cantonese and English. Experience in research is preferable. He/She must demonstrate exceptional analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills with a high level of proficiency in computer software applications, and the ability to work independently. The appointee will be responsible for the development of mental health-related training content, and the planning and implementation of professional training programmes for parents, teachers and other health professionals. He/She will provide supervision/training to other team members and assist the project director in managing ongoing research projects.
