The School of Allied Health, Human Services and Sport comprises the Department of Occupational Therapy, Social Work and Social Policy; Department of Speech Pathology, Audiology and Orthoptics; Department of Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Prosthetics and Orthotics and the Department of Dietetics Nutrition and Sport.
About the role
The Living with Disability Research Centre is one of three research centres in the School and it has day to day responsibility for the suite of Disability Practice course. Join a team of dedicated colleagues in delivering a newly developed suite of online courses: Graduate Certificate in Disability Practice, Graduate Diploma in Disability Practice and Master of Disability Practice.
This position will provide you with the opportunity to:
- Design, coordinate and teach subjects and courses which provide a high quality learning experience that engages undergraduate, and postgraduate students;
- Conduct and lead innovative and high impact research and produce highly cited publications resulting from that research;
- Contribute to the building of a robust and ambitious research culture within La Trobe
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role you will have completed a PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent accreditation and standing. You will possess a strong record of research publications, experience in preparing research proposals and demonstrated competence in teaching in blended or online modes and/or using technology to enhance learning approaches.
