Job Description

The Research Coordinator Schedgistrar will report directly to the Associate Director for Research Compliance.  In this role, the position, will support the Director in his/her duties in providing support for the successful protocol and study management of clinical trials.  The Research Coordinator will have responsibilities to assist with the upfront setup of studies in EPIC, the registration of subject to clinical protocols and the management of guarantor accounts within the EPIC system.  The Research Coordinator will also support the scheduling of additional research visits when necessary to create a second HAR with research as a guarantor.  The Research Coordinator will assist the Associate Director in the training and implementation of best practices for study scheduling and test ordering as it relates to clinical protocols.  This position will provide these services as a central resource to the Abramson Cancer Center.

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

The primary location/work site for this position is 3930 Chestnut Street

Qualification

The minimum of a High School Diploma and 5 years of clinical trial/clinical research experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Effective problem solving abilities. Effective communication and writing skills. Ability to multi-task. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Knowledge of IRB and human research protection regulations. The candidate must have good communication skills and be adept at learning multiple IT systems.
