Overview

We are seeking an experienced analyst and planner with Higher Education industry background to provide high-level advice to support strategic decision-making at the University. You will be part of a team providing high quality, research-informed briefings and position papers for consideration by the Senior Leadership Team, Council and other committees. You will also support ECU’s planning and performance reporting, and the development of statutory reports and submissions to government agencies and other external bodies.

To succeed in this role, you will utilise your excellent writing, communication and analytical skills, ability to develop plans and initiatives, and thorough understanding of the policy environment impacting higher education providers. In addition, experience of using large datasets of (non-financial) information, and an excellent track record of providing policy and planning advice to senior management, will be a strong advantage.

You will need to be a team player and will demonstrate personal attributes consistent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full-time, ongoing position attracts a salary of $101,636 - $114,474 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
