• Assistant Professor in Psychology

Job Description

Candidates are expected to contribute significantly to the faculty program development. Successful candidates will be responsible in duties included: (i) teaching courses; (ii) supervision and coordination of student’s professional practice and dissertations, and (iii) facilitate research activity and exchange relevant to the program.

Job Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree holder in psychology, psychoanalysis, Chinese culture or relevant field;
• Candidates must have excellent research ability and can teach courses related to applied psychology, psychoanalysis and Chinese culture, psychological counseling and clinical psychology.
• Candidates should have published more than 3 psychology papers on core journal(s).
• Excellent command of English and Mandarin with the ability to communicate and present clearly and succinctly.

Remuneration

The remuneration and appointment rank offered will be competitive and commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualifications, current position and professional experience. The compensation/benefits are competitive. Currently, the highest marginal personal tax rate in Macao is 12%. But the effective tax rate is around 5% to 7% after various discretionary exemptions.
