Edith Cowan University has a growing community of alumni and former staff all over the world. Our Alumni Relations Team is responsible for maintaining these relationships, providing support and increasing engagement with the University. An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join this team as an Alumni Relations Officer.
The position of Alumni Relations Officer plays a key role in supporting the Manager, Alumni Relations and the broader Office of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) team to increase the number of alumni connected to ECU and the level of their involvement with the University, as well as supporting philanthropy and donor activity. This is a varied role with opportunity to be creative, co-ordinating a number of key events, programs and projects. There are also some administration tasks required, and playing a supporting role for other members of the team is vital.
The successful candidate may also be required to work outside of normal office hours on occasion and will be expected hold a current West Australian Drivers Licence.
Ideally you will have some experience of an events environment and be confident managing a variety of tasks. Good communication, administrative and organisational skills are essential, as are a focus on customer service and problem-solving ability. Copy-writing will form a part of the role, so excellent written skills are essential. You must be flexible and happy to work in a varied role where the focus can change rapidly.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $72,103 to $80,122 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
