Job Description Summary

The Business Administrator has a dual reporting relationship to both the Managing Director of the Center and the Vice Dean for Finance and Administration, and is a key member of the Center staff contributing to the execution of the Center's strategic plan.

Job Description

Develop the Center’s annual budget and monitor expenses.  Perform monthly reconciliations of financial activity.  Manage the Center’s operating accounts, as well as gifts and research funds. Process and approve transactions, and assure compliance with school and university policies.  Work closely with the Managing Director to design and coordinate Center conferences, and develop content for Center website and social media sites. Responsible for disbursements of the Center.  Administer payroll.  Oversee space application and facilities.  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.  Excellent organizational and communication skills.  Experience with web design and social media strongly preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
