Salary: Grade 9, 0.8FTE (28 hours per week) £48,010 - £54,997 per annum pro rata. Appointments will normally be made to the first point of the grade.

The Royal College of Music is now seeking to engage a Head of Marketing to lead and develop the global marketing strategy.
Working closely with the Director of Communications the post holder will ensure that all activity is in line with the RCM’s overall brand and strategic objectives and that scale and scope is sustainable. This is a key leadership role at the RCM and an opportunity to join a world leading arts institution as we continue a period of ambitious growth. This year we launch our new performance and teaching spaces at our iconic campus and a new RCM Museum of Music will open to the general public.
Deep digital knowledge, including data analysis, customer segmentation and journey analysis will underpin strategy and you will embed this thinking within your team in order to drive all future campaigns.
Experience of higher education marketing is desirable, along with a strong appreciation of the arts and the transformative impact they make to society.
We have an ambition to grow our visitor numbers, increase our commercial revenue, develop further our online audiences and showcase our prestige to the world. The Head of Marketing must be able to work with autonomy, proactively managing strategy, stakeholders and developing initiatives that drive the business forward.
