We are seeking a dynamic and proactive study co-ordinator to manage the NIHR HTA funded CHIldren with COugh Randomised Controlled Trial (The CHICO RCT), which will investigate whether a simple clinical decision support tool can reduce the number of antibiotic items dispensed for respiratory tract infections to children presenting with acute cough and respiratory tract infection to primary care.

The conduct of the study will involve supporting the implementation in 150 GP practices, of the trial clinical decision rule as a software add-on to the primary care medical information system, and facilitating the collection of prescribing data outputs from 40 Clinical Commissioning Groups.
