Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Radiation & Cellular Oncology and the Ludwig Center for Metastasis in the Biological Sciences Division are searching for a Research Assistant Professor, Research Associate Professor, or Research Professor, whose primary activity will be academic research in association with a faculty member or team. The appointee will best contribute to a research project on Immunology, specifically on the interaction of therapeutic radiation and the immune system as it applies to host factors that affect antigen presentation and T cell priming following radiotherapy. We expect the role to involve cellular immunology, multicolor flow cytometry, mouse models, human translational studies, contribution to publications and grant applications, and training of technicians. The appointee may also apply for independent funding, and will be part of the Ludwig Center for Metastasis.

Applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent and completed postdoctoral training prior to the start of employment.
