University College Birmingham are seeking to recruit an individual with Nursing experience and current registration status, combined with a proven track record of delivering high quality teaching and a knowledge of the curriculum and apprenticeships in this field, to join our dedicated team.

Alongside relevant experience, the successful candidate will hold a Level 6 professional qualification, and an Assessor/Mentorship award. You will be self-motivated, with a drive to enhance the development of Nursing/Healthcare programmes and apprenticeships. To support this, you will demonstrate sound organisation and administrative skills, proficiency in IT, and a commitment to working as part of a team.

The University is well-supported in respect of professional development for its staff, and it is expected that the post-holder will take a proactive and enthusiastic approach to continuing professional development, including retaining NMC registration.

This post involves working 37 hours per week, predominantly Monday – Friday, although flexibility is expected in order to meet the demands of the provision. A reasonable amount of travel, in order to visit apprentices and work places off-site, should also be taken into consideration.
