Part-Time, Fixed Term (14 hours per week, 8 month Contract)
StoryFutures sits within the Centre for Digital Creativity. We have been awarded a grant from AHRC to bring academics together with companies working in emerging immersive technologies such as Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence, to promote Research & Development and help grow the creative economy around this new way of story-telling
We are looking for a fixed-term part-time Accounts Assistant to help our Finance Officer to manage all financial aspects of our work, particularly the day-to-day tasks of raising Requisitions, checking and submitting expenses claims, Purchase Orders, Invoicing and reconciling credit card payments and other financial system processes as required.
We would like to hire someone who will be based in the StoryFutures office for 14 hours per week on a fixed-term contract of 8 months. We can offer a degree of flexibility around the weekly time commitment which can be spread over 2 to 5 days per week.
Ideally you will have:
- Experience of working in bookkeeping or accountancy roles
- Excellent Excel skills
- Understanding of financial processes
- Good attention to detail
