The Role

  • Continuing, Full Time
  • $112,228 to $118,611 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga

As the Executive Officer you will provide high-level assistance to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Engagement), including managing and prioritising of tasks; provision of high-level strategic and policy advice; and representing the DVC RE when required.

You will have the capability to take a leading operational role and liaise, consult and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to the business of the DVC Research and Engagement including research, reports, policy and projects. Working autonomously, you will manage tasks to ensure competing demands and deadlines are met.

To be successful you will have:

  • Extensive management expertise and supporting experience; or postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership and development capabilities
  • Experience in providing executive support at senior management level
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with a concise and persuasive writing style
