Trinity College Dublin, The University of Dublin is seeking to fill the following post: Assistant Academic Secretary: Graduate Education, Permanent Contract, Trinity Teaching and Learning.  Appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 salary scale (at a point in line with current Government pay policy) [€58,329 to €91,478 per annum].

Hours of work are 37 hours per week. Place of work will be Trinity Main Campus. 

The person appointed to this post will have a third level qualification at degree level or higher in a related discipline, for example, education, law etc…, and will have at least five years’ experience in education policy development and administration and strategy at a senior level.

The Assistant Academic Secretary: Graduate Education will provide leadership in the development of strategy and drive the development and review of academic policies in respect of Trinity’s graduate education provision.  They will have a pivotal leadership role in advising, developing and implementing the graduate education strategic objectives of the Trinity College Dublin 2020-25 Strategic Plan

The post holder will act as a centre of expertise, advising and contributing to the College’s wider objectives in respect of its graduate education provision and the student experience.

Reporting to the Academic Secretary and working closely with the Dean of Graduate Studies and in partnership with other Academic Officers, the post holder will work to develop and deliver a truly world-class graduate education service for staff, students and external stakeholders.
