Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Hospital Medicine, seeks to provide internists training in hospital medicine research, medical education, quality improvement or global health while working as part-time Clinical Associates at 70% effort.  Clinical responsibilities will include managing patients with complex sub-specialty needs and involve night and weekend coverage.  Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications.  

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine by the time of appointment.
