The Office for Students is the higher education regulator for England. An important part of our role is to ensure those considering higher education have the information they need to make informed choices, including through our Discover Uni website, and to understand students` priorities through the National Student Survey - one of the largest surveys of its type in the world. We`re looking to appoint an exceptional candidate to join our friendly and supportive student information and engagement team and work across both Discover Uni and the National Student Survey.

The successful candidate will need to have exceptional organisational and planning skills. You will be comfortable working with data, and have experience of designing, undertaking or commissioning research. An excellent communicator, you will be able to work with and influence a wide range of partners.

Your role will be lead on elements of policy development work within each policy team. This will include work on:

You`ll work on ongoing research with students and advisers, and work with colleagues both inside and outside the organisation to inform development and evaluation of our work in this area.

-Student surveys, where you will help to develop the National Student Survey as well as designing and managing research and evaluation activities, and developing and testing questionnaires.

This is an exciting, varied and challenging role with a real and lasting opportunity to improve the experience students have of higher education. We offer a flexible working environment, access to the civil service pension scheme and a host of other benefits.
