Salary package: $73,309 - $113,165 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Position overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic researcher with an excellent record of publications in the research areas of classical and quantum photonics, optical waveguides and integrated circuits. The main goal of the research is to develop synthetic multi-dimensional optical circuits, where light propagation mimics dynamics in complex photonic lattices. The project work will involve development of new theoretical concepts, closely aligned with practical experimental platforms such as optical waveguide arrays or coupled cavities.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to strengthen your research expertise by being part of the internationally acclaimed Nonlinear Physics Centre at the ANU Research School of Physics, working closely with Prof. Andrey Sukhorukov, an established researcher in this field.
