Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Future U team delivering an inspirational programme of aspiration-raising activity in schools and the community. Future U is the Lancashire partnership delivering the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP). The partnership comprises several universities and further educations colleges that work collaboratively to help improve Higher Education (HE) progression for young people from backgrounds under-represented in HE. This role will focus on developing and delivering outreach activities for schools as part of the project's targeted outreach, which works with young people from areas where HE progression is lower than would be expected when attainment is taken into account.

The post-holder will have experience of working with schools and colleges including the delivery of workshops, talks and activities. Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal are essential along with demonstrable experience of working with young people in a demanding environment.

Educated to degree level, the post holder should be approachable and professional with the ability to adapt to the range of audiences that the Future U project engages with.
