The Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations (CTPSR) is looking to appoint a Clerical Assistant / Receptionist to fulfil a key role in the Operations Team in supporting the academic and research activities of the Centre, delivering excellent customer support for CTPSR staff and all its stakeholders.  The role will manage front-line enquiries and act as an ambassador and first contact point for internal and external visitors and clients, many of whom will be international.

The Clerical Assistant will support a wide range of Centre activities working within a supportive and professional team, providing support for leadership team members, and contributing to the effective operation of the Centre.  This will include handling travel bookings, internal communications, managing and maintaining our information and records, and handling HR and finance-related processes.  The role requires a strong customer-service skills and an ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.

With experience in a customer-focused role and in administration or office management roles within an education or research setting, you will have excellent organisational and communication skills, be a strong team-player, and have good attention to detail. You should also be able to manage a diverse workload, be adaptable and flexible in your approach, and be able to use your own initiative to solve problems as they arise.
