The Head of School is a key member of the Science and Engineering Faculty Executive team and as such, this is an outstanding leadership opportunity to create and implement an ambitious strategy to expand research activity, deliver outstanding STEM education and build mutually beneficial relationships with industry and other partners. Reporting to the Deputy Dean, the Head of School will be an inclusive leader, skilled communicator, with the ability to work with all levels of the University and partners, to lead, support, and develop the School’s strengths in research, teaching, and external engagement.
The School of Electrical Engineering and Robotics will play a significant role in almost every aspect of a modern lifestyle, supplying the energy and intelligence for the technology that helps us to manage and understand the world around us. This leading School has outstanding expertise across Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Wireless Communications, Signal Processing, Robotic Systems, Sensors, Devices and Power. The School is committed to the education of Electrical Engineers both as undergraduates and postgraduates and works with partner Schools to deliver leading edge Mechatronic, Software and Aerospace Engineering education.
