The School of Art and Design has a proud history of over175 years as the longest operating entity within Coventry University. Within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities it is part of a vibrant community of practioners, scholars and researchers with a global profile.

Architecture at Coventry University is ranked 5th in the Guardian university league tables for 2020. In addition to the ARB/RIBA accredited BSc (Hons) Architecture we have a new MArch, which is currently ARBa ccredited and will seek RIBA validation in a further step towards developing the full provision of professional architecture education.

Architecture is enjoying much demand and we are looking to expand our experienced teaching team with the appointment of new staff who will be able to make a major contribution to the existing courses as well as to the establishment of new and innovative courses at national and international level.

The successful candidates will be passionate about architecture and higher education with a strong track record in teaching, practice and/or research. We invite candidates with a broad interest and capability in the teaching of contemporary design and a particular expertise in the historical and theoretical contexts of architecture.
