Assistant Professor Stéphane Verguet is seeking a highly-motivated and capable postdoctoral researcher with an interest in health economics, health systems, modeling and decision sciences. The successful candidate will work with Dr. Verguet on several projects related to priority setting in low- and middle-income countries. The work involves cost-effectiveness analysis and extended cost-effectiveness analysis of health interventions and policies, including equity and financial risk protection analyses. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to collaborate on research papers and to develop and extend skills in decision sciences, health economics, health systems, modeling, and preparing several manuscripts for publication.

Basic Qualifications

Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent in economics, health policy, decision sciences, epidemiology, engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
Candidates should also have the following:

  1. Strong quantitative, analytical, and writing skills
  2. Research experience
  3. Expert knowledge of R and/or other programming language
  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently

The position is based in Boston and is for one year, with the potential for renewal for an additional year.
