Job description

The Strategic Planning and Analytics Office is seeking exceptional new colleagues to support the expansion of the team. We are a key professional service delivering strategic insight to a wide range of stakeholders to support evidence-based decision making.

These are exciting opportunities to join Coventry University and make a significant contribution to our strategic direction. You will bring expertise in at least one of the following areas;

  • Business intelligence and analytics
  • The delivery of strategic insight to support strategic planning, performance measurement, modelling and forecasting, including an ability to identify how key indicators are derived from source data/processes and are influenced by business activities
  • Statutory reporting to regulatory bodies including the OfS and HESA, and a sound understanding of data governance principles

You will have outstanding analytical skills, attention to detail, experience of working with complex datasets using software including Tableau, Alteryx and Business Objects (or similar), and a confident approach to making your insight count. 

You will work collaboratively with internal and external contacts, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to manage individual workloads and meet tight deadlines. 

We are able to offer this as a Full Time, Permanent role or as a Fixed Term contract for two years.
