This is an exciting opportunity for dynamic and innovative person to be working in the School of Engineering at a University with an international reputation for excellence, innovation and enterprise.

The research assistant will engage in carrying out necessary activities as part of an ERASMUS+ project titled ‘Rebuilding After Displacement – REGARD’.  The project is led by University of Huddersfield, UK. The post holder will be part of a team responsible for leading Work Package 1 in fulfilling Output 1, i.e. to identify built environment needs of displaced communities. The project is worth €1 Million, and the total duration of the project is 36 months. The post holder is expected to contribute to the research

project in terms fulfilling the tasks assigned to UCLan, whilst further developing their skills and experiences in building resilience.

The successful applicant will have experience of undertaking qualitative and or quantitative research studies and working experience of research.

Educated to a degree level preferably in a related Built Environment discipline, you will also be IT literate with the ability to use MS Office and various research analysis software.

The successful applicant will also have excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills.
