  • Fixed term, part-time appointment (to November 2020, 1 day per week)

Student Support and Transition provides services, programs and resources that facilitate student support and transition into, through, and out of the university learning environment - fostering student progress, retention and development of the graduate qualities.

Student Support & Transition sits within the portfolio of the PVC (Students) who oversees the delivery strategy for support services that improve students’ transition into UOW at all UOW domestic campuses.

The Support Advisor (SSA) works collaboratively with the full range of support services at UOW and in the Community, and with multiple stakeholders within the Faculty to assist students to achieve study success and is responsible for the assessment of reasonable adjustments for students studying with disability.
